Com formação em Fotografia pela Cambridge School of Art/UK e em Comunicação Social pela UFMG, Bruna Brandão começou a criar imagens quando era bailarina e revezava seu lugar nos palcos com a posição de trás das lentes. Como fotógrafa, desde 2014 realiza de forma independente projetos sobre o tecnobrega na periferias de Belém, os indígenas Huni Kuin na Amazônia, e pesquisa de processos fotográficos dentro da discussão de corpo queer, gênero e temáticas LGBTQI.
With a degree in Photography from Cambridge School of Art/UK and in Social Communication from UFMG (Federal University of Minas Gerais), Bruna Brandão started creating images when she was a dancer and used to alternate her place on stage with the position behind the lens. As a photographer, since 2014 she has independently worked on projects about Tecno Brega in the outskirts of Belém, about Huni Kuin indigenous people in the Amazon, and researches photographic processes within the discussion of queer body, gender, and LGBTQI themes.
