Bruna Dias nasceu em Pombal, sertão da Paraíba. Atua, estuda, aprende e transforma nas artes visuais desde 2017. Como caminho artístico e político, sua pesquisa revela os atravessamentos entre o seu ser e estar no mundo: os conflitos, lutas e questionamentos internos e externos de uma mulher-preta-nordestina, que transbordam na observação da sociedade, sentimentos e comportamentos, para, a partir deles, se saber existindo, resistindo, e sendo alguém para si e os seus. Os suportes com os quais trabalha e produz suas obras são imagem e palavra: foto, vídeo, poesia, costura, luta, afeto e movimento.
Bruna Dias was born in Pombal, sertão of Paraíba. She acts, studies, learns, and transforms in Visual Arts since 2017. As an artistic and political path, her research reveals the crossings between her being and living in the world: the conflicts, struggles, and internal and external questionings of a black-northeastern woman, which overflow in the observation of society, feelings and behaviors, and from them, know herself existing, resisting, and being someone for herself and her own. The supports with which she works and produces her works are image and word: photo, video, poetry, sewing, struggle, affection, and movement.
